Just checking prices and the Vent-Axia website is wanting £860 for the cheapest model. I found the same model elsewhere for £260, so avoid buying directly from Vent-Axia

Is there anyway to supply the unit with an external air source rather than the filters from the loft air. My loft is boarded out as room.

Is there any chance someone can put nasty air attached to the outside tube into my vent axis leading the air to reach inside my apartment through the grills around the house? I can smell nasty chemicals from this vents and it’s a new apartment and new vent axis on my cabinet room. Any clue?

Brown is live, blue is neutral and yellow and green is earth. For basic wiring remove earth from switch and don't place earth into the svara. Historically! They mean advanced... which is nipping the live wire 10 to 15cm from svara, placing a joint connector and have live in and two live wires out place one in "L" and the other into "T" this is known as the breaker. Used for switch on the svara. Otherwise the 3rd is not needed. I'm here looking for an Internet connectional video for knowledge :/ but this came up with hunreds of others for app which is Bluetooth connection 😅

Yes it is quite compared to all those other things but they don’t run 24/7 like the fan does and at night that’s all I can hear is the droning sound of the fan, I just changed the settings on it so it will only come on when I pull the cord

The cable terminals were not tightened securely in this video but left loose - fire risk! Also no advice on isolating supply - shock risk! A company like Vent-Axia really should take more care with its promotional videos.

I had to cut out half the cavity tube to get the spigot to fit the hole.Why make insignificant changes that are highly unnecessary. Such as increasing the spigot diameter two mm? Why?

This fan is far from silent. It’s fitted in the kitchen ceiling under the bedroom it’s not possible to sleep with the constant buzz . It also will not run with any strength ie to extract without the kitchen lights being on , Not Ideal in Summer time

Pity they have cheapened this product in recent years. Not worth the premium. Removed plastic back draft baffle (it’s now thin plastic film) and removed conical baffle at back of face plate. It’s basically the cheapest version they could get away with but still charging a premium. Just replaced a 3 year old unit ‘like for like’. Guarantee is 2 years.

How do you change the timer function?

They have two settings. The factory setting is almost silent but hardly functions as an extractor. After recalling the electrician to investigate, he discovered the fan has two settings and the more powerful setting is as noisy as standard fans. I contacted their customer relations department and was given a pile of waffle. Wouldn't dream of buying another.
